Urban Wildlife Conservation Day is a national day of celebration for our urban green spaces and urban wildlife.  Come join the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, City of Phoenix, Rio Reimagined, Corazon Latino, and Audubon Southwest as we gather to celebrate our third annual Urban Wildlife Conservation Day!  There will be multiple family-friendly events and activities to enjoy, including the Walk for the Wild, kids art zone, wildlife demonstrations, trash cleanup, music, food and a festival of partner organizations.

To join, and register for, the Walk for the Wild Team (FREE), click here and be sure to join other Wild-Walkers at 9 am for the official start of the walk!

Event Schedule:

  • 7:00-8:00 am: River Hero’s- Salt River Cleanup
  • 8:15-8:45 am: Nature Nook- Live Animal Demonstrations
  • 9:00-10:00 am: Walk for the Wild kick off with plant, animal, and cultural guides
  • 9:15-9:45 am: Nature Nook- Storyteller
  • 10:15-10:45 am: Nature Nook- Live Animal Demonstrations
  • 11:00-11:30 am: Pollinator Planting
