Join the City of Avondale for their bimonthly clean-up of the beautiful Base & Meridian Wildlife Area, at the Gila River, just north of Phoenix Raceway. This beautiful urban oasis is one of the rare areas of the river corridor with plentiful water and wildlife. The city provides all clean-up materials. Please bring water and wear a hat, sunscreen, close-toed shoes and clothes for warm weather.
