Lake Pleasant is creating a Monday clean-up crew.  If you are available on any Monday through October, please join Maricopa County Parks and pick up litter along the shoreline. Volunteers will meet Park Assistant Doug Robertson outside of the main building at the entry station where he’ll sign them. After signing in, volunteers will be directed to where to park for litter pick-up efforts. Volunteers should be prepared to work in the early morning heat of the spring and summer picking up litter along the shoreline and throughout the park as directed by Doug Robertson. Volunteers should be heat tolerant and mindful of their walking and hiking ability

Volunteers should bring water, salty snacks and fruit (oranges are best for hot weather), hat, sunscreen, closed-toed shoes/boots made for uneven surfaces, sunglasses, and work gloves. Some equipment will be provided including gloves, litter pickers and bags.

Contact Koy D. Mangan at koy.mangan@maricopa.gov or 602-506-9555 with questions.
