

Maricopa County Parks’ Butterfly Virtual Workshop

Have you ever wanted to learn more about butterflies? Well, here is your chance! The Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a butterfly monitoring workshop and several butterfly monitoring events to help determine population trends, species richness, and diversity within the county. September is the beginning of the annual migration back to Mexico and Maricopa County is celebrating with an educational online workshop, and an in-person monitoring program at the regional park along the Gila River.
