The Central Arizona-Phoenix Long Term Ecological Research (CAPLTR) program has monitored plant and animal communities in several urban Salt River wetland areas since 2012 to understand how urbanization, climate change and land management has shaped river ecology.  Speaker Luke Ramsey-Wiegmann, PhD candidate, ASU School of Sustainability, will examine four case studies to identify how biodiversity has changed over the last decade and what this means for urban riparian stewardship.

Location:
ASU Biodiversity Knowledge Integration Center
734 West Alameda Drive, Tempe AZ 85282.

Virtual attendance by Zoom also available.
